In the name of cute pony navels, we bring you another update of OPaBB, highlighting great pony navel art since 2013!
Greetings and salutations once again, friends, pony fans, navel gazers and lurkers alike!
We're now half-way through our fifth month, and here's another feature of some grand artwork examples from this week. Before that though, there's a few brief notes worth mentioning:
First and foremost, 'Of Ponies and Belly Buttons' blog entries just like this one, will be altering slightly. Instead of blurbing the overhead artwork, the artists' (pony) artworks overall will be blurbed as a general promotional text! New gallery folder! 'Hybrid Ponies and Alternate Species' allows us to put all those mermaid ponies, bat ponies, snake ponies and what else have you ponies, into their own dedicated folder, and thus keep the theme of 'pony, anthro, human' in the other folders, true to their word. New mod friend aboard! The new to DeviantART but not new to the fandom, PloxyPony! He expressed interest in moderating for the group to have a basis on DeviantART, and we're going to give him a shot! Do not miss the opportunity to check him out! He's quite the project-involved individual when it comes to the fandom! New Highlighted Artists in the wings! Look out for more new featured artworks in the HA folder on the homepage! We're on the cusp of 1,000 watchers! Look for a celebratory blog in the near future, following this one! We're on our way to reaching our six month/half-year point in another two weeks! A large blog looking for member feedback and suggestions will be coming out on the day we reach that point, don't miss it!

Her plushies are as famous as her visual artworks, and both of them are perfect reasons to give her gallery a look!
Fluttershy by Sogeky
Rather under-known at this point, Sogeky's artworks carry a soft-shaded and light-hearted style to them, and as they've dabbled in doing anthro ponies more and more, their style noticeably improves, with Butter Pony up above being their most recent (belly button bearing) example! If you're to give feedback and appreciation for anyone's artwork today, this artist is it!

Possessing vibrancy and the unique cuteness of bobble-head looking ponies, PS82 (boy, that's a long line of consoles) brings something incredible for their watchers to view, with every new artwork they publish! Lyra, Luna and Derpy being the highlighted artwork pieces shown so far in our group, the rest of their gallery is not something to overlook!
